    Preachers Son is an Irish bluesy rock band based in Dublin. They formed at the beginning of 2009. Core members include Brian Hogan on guitar and vocals (Kila - www.kila.ie) Emmaline Duffy Fallon on drums (previously Engine Alley), and Jose Carlos Anselmo Flores on bass. Guest musicians that play with the band include Dara Munnis (The Coronas, Doctor Leaves), Kieran Kennedy (Black Velvet Band), and Seanin Brennan (Kila, Boxty). First album just completed, provisionally entitled "Life, Love and Limb" mixed by Dave Bascombe (Placebo, Korn, Goldfrapp Depeche Mode). Guest artists include: Gavin Friday, Liam O'Maonlai, Mary Barnecutt, Kathrine Barnecutt, Ciaran Crilly, Simon Wall, Laoighse Styles and RorI Coleman. At present he is chief bass-man with contemporary Irish group KíLA, with whom he co-composes and travels the world. With KíLA he has won a Meteor award, earned a platinum, several gold discs and achieved a number-one-hit alongside U2, The Dubliners and the Band of Bowsies with the single The Ballad Of Ronnie Drew. He has enjoyed playing with George Hamilton IV, Bono, U2, Sinéad O Connor, The Dubliners, Paul Brady, Donal Lunny, Liam O Maonlaoí, Glenn Hansard, The Cheeky Girls... This new line up, Preacher's Son (the name referring to his father Larry Hogan who spent his life preaching and singing), contains his own compositions with the odd cover thrown in. Together with drummer Miss Metronome - previously of Engine Alley fame, José Carlos Anselmo Flores from Seville on bass. MISS METRONOME AKA EMMALINE DUFFY FALLON At the age of fifteen she joined the band Engine Alley, signed to U2's label Mother Records and enjoyed hits such as Infamy, Mrs Winder and Song For Someone. In 1994 she left the band and under the guidance of Paul McGuinness she went solo, releasing single Now or Never in 1995. She then relocated to New York, trained as a dog trainer / behaviourist and continued to play with a selection of bands. In 2006 she returned to Dublin and since then has played with Cathy Davey, Pete Pamf, Nick Kelly, Eoghan Quigg and is a founder member of Preachers Son. Recent appearances on television (RTE) include: The Raw Sessions (celebrity episode), The Late Late Show and Eye to Eye. When she's not rocking hard on the drums she is a super nanny for dogs. JOSE CARLOS ANSELMO FLORES Jose's career started when he was eleven years old in primary school. Since then he has been dedicated to stringed instruments like electric and acoustic basses, guitar and violin. In his twenties he got involved in several blues bands in Spain and soon after, in the flamenco world, toured Spain with names like Samara Vargas, Tato Ramirez or Santiago Espinosa. He also developed his jazz technique common of the gypsy Manouche style (Django Reinhardt) in both guitar and violin. At twenty nine he came to Ireland and soon he started playing with Wally Page and Johnny Mulhern, collaborated with Sean Tyrrell, Oleg Ponomarev (Kesha), toured and recorded with Johnny McEvoy, (which album features Sharon Shannon and Maurice Lennon) Sami Moukaddem, the Cuban Orishas, Cuarteto Floridita (salsa), and many others. Recently Jose has been recording with the renowned Cuban born trumpet player Alberto Martinez (Mark Anthony, Jennifer Lopez) on his new project, which includes respected Lazara Lopez, daughter of the world known bassist Cachaito Lopez (Buena Vista Social Club) as well as gigging with Craig Walker, front man of "Archive" and "Power of Dreams".
